Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Blue Earth County, Minnesota. Day to day you will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; run load and overload tests with test weights. What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
