Press machine operator wanted in South Gloucestershire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in South Gloucestershire, England. You will be based at an injection moulding unit. On a typical shift you will run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches. You should have: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges 3+ years on the tools preferred.
