TIG welder • Clark County, Arkansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in Clark County, Arkansas. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work On the job you will handle: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
