Production welder • Greene County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production welder in Greene County, Iowa. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
