Argon arc welder wanted in DeKalb County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in DeKalb County, Missouri. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On a typical shift you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
