Lift mechanic • Pocahontas County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Pocahontas County, Iowa. You will work in a residential tower block. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Day-to-day duties: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork 2+ years on the tools preferred. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
