Truck driver — Chowan County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a truck driver in Chowan County, North Carolina. The role involves check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Valid digital tachograph card 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
