Industrial sewing operator wanted in City of Norfolk

Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in City of Norfolk, Virginia. You will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
