Horticulturist — Jones County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Jones County, South Dakota. You will be based at a private estate garden. Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Day-to-day duties: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
