Great opportunity: canteen cook (West Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a canteen cook in Hardy County, West Virginia. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. Day-to-day duties: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases You should have: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays Full-time, day shift.
