Argon welder • Itasca County, Minnesota

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Itasca County, Minnesota. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. On the job you will handle: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
