Join our team: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Cottonwood County, Minnesota. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Rotating shifts.
