Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Kankakee County, Illinois. The role involves top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; check for underground cables and services before digging. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Part-time with flexible hours.
