Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Safana, Katsina State. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works 4+ years on the tools preferred.
