Urgent requirement: machine operator (earthworks) (Louisiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. On the job you will handle: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly What we are looking for: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence 5+ years on the tools preferred.
