Great opportunity: we are hiring a fast-fit technician in Lawrence County, Illinois. The job is at a roadside mobile fitting unit. You should have: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers Day to day you will check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands; replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors; fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
