Aluminium tig welder • Russell County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Russell County, Virginia. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
