We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Clay County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Your main tasks: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
