We are recruiting: we are hiring a marble worker in Greene County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching Your main tasks: • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
