Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. Your main tasks: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
