Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Monmouthshire, Wales. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; write and edit G-code programs at the control; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. You should have: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer £2,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
