Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofing labourer in Tyler County, Texas. You will be based on re-roofing and repair jobs. On a typical shift you will strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • A good head for heights and steady balance 5+ years on the tools preferred.
