Garment machinist wanted in Lamar County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Lamar County, Mississippi. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Day to day you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends.
