Pastry baker — Bayfield County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pastry baker in Bayfield County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. You should have: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens The role involves: • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Meals and transport allowance provided.
