MIG welder wanted in Montgomery County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG welder in Montgomery County, Iowa. You will be based at an automobile body shop. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings You will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
