We are recruiting: we are hiring a confectioner in Tillamook County, Oregon. The job is at a cake shop. What we are looking for: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Food handler / hygiene certificate Your main tasks: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls Six days a week, one day off.
