Concrete finisher — Aleutians West Census Area

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Day-to-day duties: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
