Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On a typical shift you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). 6+ years on the tools preferred.
