Pipe tig welder — Early County

Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Early County, Georgia. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
