Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Lafia, Nasarawa State. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day-to-day duties: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
