Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Gadsden County, Florida. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Day-to-day duties: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
