Great opportunity: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Atkinson County, Georgia. The role involves: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
