Framing carpenter • Edu, Kwara State

Join our team: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Edu, Kwara State. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. On a typical shift you will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
