Concrete finisher • Saint Clair County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Saint Clair County, Illinois. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. On a typical shift you will patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
