Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in South Gloucestershire, England. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day On the job you will handle: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. £3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
