Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Carroll County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
