Concrete finisher — North Slope Borough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete finisher in North Slope Borough, Alaska. You will work in a residential housing project. Day to day you will mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift.
