Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Warrington, England. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc 1+ years on the tools preferred.
