Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance On the job you will handle: • Carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries • Recharge and service the air-conditioning system • Estimate repair costs and order the right parts • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool • Bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
