Immediate opening: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. The job is at a garment factory. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; give each garment a final press before packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
