Concrete placer wanted in Shelby County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete placer in Shelby County, Iowa. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE The role involves cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. 4+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
