Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Jefferson County, Tennessee. The role involves: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
