Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Minnehaha County

Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Minnehaha County, South Dakota. The job is at a residential building site. Day to day you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided.
