Gtaw welder wanted in Lake County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Lake County, Michigan. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
