Vacancy available: acoustic insulation fitter (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Russell County, Kansas. You will work in lofts and crawl spaces. Day-to-day duties: • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Working-at-height certificate an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
