Bodyshop painter — Ellis County

Join our team: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Ellis County, Kansas. The job is at a dealership paint shop. On the job you will handle: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair Requirements: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Good eye for colour matching and blending Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
