You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Day to day you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends.
