Steel erection rigger wanted in Belknap County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Belknap County, New Hampshire. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. On the job you will handle: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
