Now hiring: we are hiring a mason's helper in Bleckley County, Georgia. You will be based on a building construction site. Requirements: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Day-to-day duties: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
