Gantry crane operator • Katsina, Katsina State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Katsina, Katsina State. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) The role involves: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
